Club History
The Quarry Golf Course was designed by the world-renowned architectural team of Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry in 2007. Offering an exceptional golf experience with spectacular views, this Par 72 championship course is a true test for golfers of all levels. The Quarry played host to the PGA Champions Tour ACE Group Classic in 2010 and 2011. Golf Hall of Famers Fred Couples and Bernhard Langer captured the Champions Trophy.
Once a working quarry, the drag-line crane which sits atop Hole #5 represents those that were used in unearthing tons of limestone from what is now Stone Lake. Prior to the limestone quarry, the land was referred to by locals as “Piper’s Pasture” where hunters made their camps as they pursued wild game and fowl.
The natural beauty of South Florida is evident everywhere with incredible nature preserves, abundant wildlife, and an expansive lake system. Although water appears on almost every hole, rest assured the course plays fair to those who choose their shot wisely. With 5 sets of tees, Sea Dwarf Paspalum grass, and a unique layout to every hole, you'll never get tired of challenging this beautiful course.
